  2. Alert Others: If you detect a fire, shout to alert nearby individuals or tents.
  3. Stay Composed: During an emergency, remain calm and use nearby fire extinguishing equipment carefully and safely to attempt extinguishing the fire. Remember, fire and smoke spread quickly; act swiftly but without panic.
  4. Know Your Exits: Familiarize yourself with the nearest exit routes and use them during emergencies.
  5. Heed Public Announcements: Pay attention to all announcements and remain vigilant at all times.
  6. Understand Firefighting Equipment: Learn to use your firefighting equipment properly so it can be effectively employed in the event of a fire.
  7. Preparation Materials: Keep sand and water readily available in drums, along with a basket for use in extinguishing fires.
  8. Evacuate Safely: Quickly evacuate people, especially children, from affected tents or pandals. Cut the ropes to collapse structures if necessary to prevent the spread of fire, ensuring no one is left inside before doing so. Utilize all available firefighting resources to combat the fire.
  9. Handle Cylinder Fires Carefully: In the event of a cylinder fire, keep it upright and cover the burning side with a heavy or wet cloth to prevent gas leakage, rather than throwing it on the floor.

  11. Stay Alert: Your awareness and vigilance are crucial to your safety.
  12. Participate in Safety Drills: Keep your area clean and engage in fire safety training programs and drills to enhance fire prevention awareness.
